Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
PSI is developing a line of Micro-sized Air-launched eXpendable (MAX) sensors as UAS components. Sensors are capable of being launched from several UAS platforms.
Sensors include an air-launched Wave Buoy (MAXWB), currently in production, a Visibility Sonde (MAXVS) in SBIR Phase III development, a Meteorological Sonde (MAXMS) in SBIR Phase II development, and an Unattended Ground Sensor (MAXUGS) in SBIR Phase II development.
